Napkin Creations

So I decided to take a break from finals for a couple minutes to upload some of my latest materpieces...napkin drawings!! I currently work at this bar, and late nights/ no customers results in doodling on the only paper around, napkins. It's kinda fun because it trains me to not make as many mistakes since I can only draw with a pen on them. I have a lot more probably but theses were the only ones I was able to find. Just doodles of other employees or customers, or just random. I'll try to find some more..and once finals are over I'll post some more stuff.

Self-Portrait

This was a project for my digital painting class, we had to do a self portrait. Hand sketch and then painted in photoshop.

Ping Pong Ball

So currently I am in a digital painting class and our first assignment was to do a painting of a ping pong ball. Kinda left out on detailing the background, but the ball came out good.

Graphic Design

So I got a freelance gig about a month ago for doing the design of 3D cut outs. So here they are. Used Illustrator for this project.

Cartoon Me

Just a sketch I did in class then colored it in photoshop. A fellow student today showed a very helpful demo in using photoshop brushes so I practiced on the sketch.

3D Final

So the final final for my 3D class was we had to do a spin around video going from mesh to color. So here it is.

Amazing two posts in one day! So here is my animation for my 2D class. We had to do a stand up act, then animate it. I do need to go back and fix a couple things. Will do once classes are over.

Busssyyy

Ok, so I've been trying to update this more..but I've been super busy with school+work+getting an apt=hectic...so anyways here's some stuff that I've been doing in my 3D class. Also I have a bunch of sketches that I will scan in later this month.

Here is my robot textured and lighted. Also, this is my new project I'm working on, its the model of a dodo bird. And yes, he is missing feet..its still a work in progress.

Robot WIP Update

So here is another update of my robot...I've changed the shape of the face from what I had originally, to this. Now we're unwrapping it and putting texture to that..if it comes out well I'll post it.haha

3D Robot WIP

So for my 3D modeling class we have to model ourselves as a robot. Here are some sketches and the begining process of the modle. Obviously its sitll a work in progress, so changes will be made. I will have the final done in two weeks, then at the end of the quarter colored. Also here's a random sketch from today of Todd.

3D Lighting

So I learned how to do this omni lighting the other day in 3ds max. It looks kinda cool. This is a model of my kitchen for intermediate 3D modeling.

Life Drawing Sessions

Here are a couple drawings from the life drawing session at school. I believe these were 5 minute and 10 minute. I'm hoping that by the end of the quarter I can get it to this level on a 3 minute pose...hopefully.

So lately I've been trying to eat better...considering that this last quarter I ate mostly french fries and ice cream, and the most excerise was probably walking from my computer to the couch. So here's to my new eating of fruits and vegtables..they are so...yumm-..bleh.

School's Out..for three weeks.

So I'm all done with classes for the semester. Not to hard of a quarter, but I'm sure next quarter I won't have any free time. So here's a sketch to celebrate it being summer.

Study Abroad Japan Project

About 3 months ago I went on a study abroad trip to Japan. When we got back we had to do basically an independent project to something that related to the trip. Me and Todd Churn did an animation together relating to chopsticks, since that was basically the only eating utensil over there. So here is our finished product for the class. Enjoy :]

So I'm in my 3D class right now..I finished my final so I decided to do a tutorial on a head. This is what I have so far. If I can finish it before the end of class I'll post that too. So far it looks like a head :]

Practicing With Photoshop

Again practicing more with photoshop...it's nice to just take a break from homework and do a quick sketch. So here's what I did. Learned about using blue with low opacity then going back over with black..then color :]

Character Design

So this is a character I sketched one day. Attempt at coloring in photoshop...but it's a good way to practice on random sketches. I'd like to continue this character with something..maybe some model sheets, or turn around.

Introduction to 3D

Sooo I finally have been introduced to 3D. Never done anything with it before, so this is my first attempt (other than the horrible in class rocket ship assignment..which shall not be mentioned). Soo not amazing, but it looks like a frog.lol
