11 Second Club-August

A bit delayed in posting this, but this is my entry to the 11 Second Club compeition from August...? I felt a lot more comfortable in Maya this time than the last one I submitted (I also went from top 200 to top 100!). I'm doing the month of Decembers, but won't be able to enter it in time with all the holiday stuff. I'll be sure to post it when I'm done!

So I did a previous post of the animation for this, but it was pretty basic. So I added some background and did some compositing in After Effects.

Deer Jump

So this is a character design from work for an upcoming game. It gets animated in code in the game so I put together a quick loop cycle in Flash.

Walkin' the Dog

Walkin' the Dog from Hannah Benbow on Vimeo.

Animation done in maya, had a lot of fun animating this one. It's a nice change from just the over-used 3ds max rig "low-max".

Learning Maya

So I am in the process of learning Maya. It seems like a really fun program, but going straight from 3Ds Max, it seems so backwords. Here are two run cycles I completed in it using the Moom Rig.

Study Abroad Japan Project

About 3 months ago I went on a study abroad trip to Japan. When we got back we had to do basically an independent project to something that related to the trip. Me and Todd Churn did an animation together relating to chopsticks, since that was basically the only eating utensil over there. So here is our finished product for the class. Enjoy :]

I couldn't get a good video version up without it being choppy, so here's a link to the .swf file
