I'm On Amazon!

Well, my book is. Last year I illustrated a A-Z picture book of fruits and vegetables. It's been a journey trying to learn the in's and out's of making a book, but I'm happy I can call it done. You can purchase it here on Amazon.

Although this is just a simple picture book, the main reason I created it was to help create a dialogue between adults and children on healthy eating. I always think back to this clip from Jamie Oliver, and it's baffles me that some kids are not educated about real foods. I have bigger plans to go with this book, you'll just have to wait and see!

365 Days of Cats!

This year I have decided to do a 365 day art project with, CATS! I'll be posting them here at the end of the month, but if you want to keep up-to-date daily be sure to follow me on Twitter, Tumblr or Instagram.

Merry catting!

Paintings for Friends

These were a couple digital paintings I did as gifts for some friends.

Illustrations

Did a couple personal illustrations over the last month, hope to have more soon!

Holiday Designs

A bit delayed on posting this...

For the holidays I gave chocolate bars as present this year. I designed the wrapper and made the chocolate! (A bit overachieving one might say...)

I designed the abdominal snowman on a whim, and then thought he'd look great on a candy bar!

Unfortunately I never got a picture of them wrapped :/

Thank You Cards

Last year two of my family members helped me out of a large portion of my student loans. It was insanely generous, and I couldn't thank them enough. So I thanked them the only way I thought I could. Illustrating a thank you card and sending one once a month.

Here is a preview of Januarys.

The rest are screen caps from last years, forgot to take pictures of them printed out

Monster Painting

This was a somewhat spur of the moment project. I had a left over piece of wood from a DIY home project and didn't want it to go to waste. I'm planning on making a series out of this, so stay tuned!

Vector Doodle

This was a doodle I did then vectorized it in Illustrator..fun!

Busy..

So I've been pretty busy with work, so here is a couple things I've done in the last month. Also my work's Iphone game should be released mid-October so I will release info about that then!

Vintage Project

This was a freelance project completed in Adobe Illustrator. These are some of the concept sketches leading up to the final one.

Cartoons!

These are a couple doodles I did in a new coloring style.

Acrylic Painting

So I broke out the paint and took a break from the computer. This was based off a sketch I did of a girl I saw on the train, she had awesome sun glasses. Surprisingly for not painting in years this only took me a couple hours

Cute Animals!!

This was a freelance project for kids t-shirt designs, all hand sketched then colored in illustrator. I'm learning that images come out a lot cleaner in Illustrator compared to Flash..but it takes so much longer..

Red

Again another quick sketch from work turned into color. Really had a lot of fun with the hair on this one.

Southern Belle

So the sketch below ended up turning into this..

Mobile Game

This is a freelance project I've been working on for the last week. It's artwork for an interactive game for kids. Hopefully once it's done I can post a video of it in action. Sorry for the watermark.

Kids

A freelance project I worked on doing character designs for the clients company. It was a fun experience because I got to really focus on the fashion style of the kids and their own styles.

Fat Cat

Another water color continuing my fat cat series. I'm working on doing a comic strip about it maybe, so I'll try to post more on it soon.

Water Colors?

So messed with water colors for the first time this week...this was about the 4th painting I did..the other three didn't survive... O_o

Finals...

This project was for my backgrounds and layouts class. We had to come up with a concept and create backgrounds for it. I just colored it

Pencils: Fenia Norville
Inks : Kendall Cash

This was for my digital ink and paint final. We had to paint four pannels in a different style to tell a story.

So here is the reason why I haven't been able to post much for the past 10 weeks..enjoy.
